JELENA offers abaya alterations and additions at the customer's request, whether purchased online or at our store.

The service includes several alterations and additions. Availability depends on each abaya's design and specifications.

Online shop service

When ordering from JELENA online, you can select an alteration or addition to be completed before your order is prepared for shipping.

• Closure Abaya

Available additions depend on the style. Some abayas are open, while others have snap buttons, a concealed zip or a closed design.

• Length alteration
• Side alterations
• Narrowing the abaya
• Shoulder adjustment
• Sleeve adjustment

Alterations follow the requested measurement, subject to the abaya's design and what can be adjusted in the selected style.

Writing alteration or addition details

When you select an alteration or addition on the product page, a field appears for your instructions.

Please describe your requirements clearly and precisely before placing the order.

For additions, you can specify details such as:

• Number of snap buttons required
• Number of snap fasteners
• Number of hook fastenings
• Closure details, such as leaving part of the top or bottom open
• Other details related to the requested service

For alterations, enter the exact required measurement in centimetres or inches.

Example:

Alter the abaya's length to 54 inches

or:

Narrow the abaya by 3 cm

Please check measurements and details before submitting your order. The service follows the information entered in the notes field.

Online order preparation time

Alterations and additions are completed before the order is prepared for shipping.

Preparation time depends on the service, the number of alterations or additions, and the abaya style.

After completion, the order is prepared and shipped using the selected method.

Exchanges and returns after alterations

An alteration or addition requested by the customer that changes the abaya's original condition or specifications is treated as custom work.

After the approved alteration or addition has been completed, the abaya cannot be exchanged or returned.

Please confirm all required measurements and details before approving the service.

However, if there is a manufacturing defect, or JELENA carries out an alteration or addition differently from the approved request due to its own error, JELENA is responsible for resolving the issue and protecting the customer's rights, without holding her responsible for an error she did not make.

Our aim is to carry out the approved request. If we make an error, we are responsible for correcting it and protecting the customer's rights.

When selecting an abaya at JELENA's store, you can request available alterations or additions and use our immediate service.

Additions are carried out immediately where the service and selected style allow, so you can collect the abaya with the addition during the same visit.

Alterations are also completed immediately to the requested measurement, subject to the abaya's design and specifications, for collection during the same visit.

Some alterations or additions may not be possible for every style.

In-store alteration policy

Before any alteration or addition begins, the request is specified and approved by the customer.

Once the alteration or addition is completed as requested, the abaya cannot be exchanged or returned if it has changed from its original condition.

However, if there is a manufacturing defect, or JELENA makes an error during an alteration or addition, we take responsibility for fully resolving the issue and protecting the customer's rights.

The customer is not responsible for any execution error made by JELENA.
